Scaling Leadership from the Inside Out
The Challenge
This fast-growing organization has tremendous ambition and is building a legendary brand. Internal teams were working hard to elevate performance standards across functions and needed foundational talent development programs to support that effort. The remit was to build trust and relaunch foundational leadership programs that delivered clear, practical, and highly-relevant strategies for new and experienced people managers.
Our Approach
Over the course of two years, StepOutside’s team led the design and facilitation of core learning paths for managers and individual contributors, serving hundreds of employees across the company.
Each learning session was designed to challenge participants’ thinking while delivering practical strategies that leaders could immediately apply. Session topics covered a number of key leadership skills that are designed to drive performance and psychological safety. Across both learning paths, the emphasis on real-world application was critical to our success. Facilitators regularly adapted content to align with performance cycles and business priorities.
Timing was also key. Several sessions were intentionally placed ahead of key cultural milestones like performance conversations and career discussions to make learning stick.
